Sunil Jha is the Senior Director of Engineering at ideaForge Technology Ltd, the pioneer and the leading drone technology company, specializing in defense and civil applications in India. In his present role, he leads Engineering and Technology development for new products and maintenance and improvements of existing products in market. He holds B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur in 1994-98 and M.Tech as Senior Research Fellow of DRDO. He has overall 25+ years of experience in Research & Development, Program Management, Product Design & Development, Numerical and Physical Validation, Compliance and Regulations etc. He has presented technical papers in National Conferences of ISAMPE, SAE, AICTE, Altair’s ATC Conferences and others. Prior to joining ideaForge in 2023, he worked in Organizations like DRDO as Scientist in its Missile laboratory, CLAAS as Engineering Director, TEXTRON as Sr Engineering Manager, John Deere as Senior Lead Engineer responsibilities but mainly in the area of Engineering and Research & Development. He holds membership of SAE India, Aeronautical Society of India, ISAMPE and Institution of Engineers. Sunil is a technologist at heart and loves Gardening, Music, Reading Books etc during leisure.
