JS Gavankar has a wide range of experience in A&D, which spreads over form Strategy & Business Development to core R&D, and from Product Development to System Integration spanning over 3 Decades. For over 24 years, he served in the Indian Air Force and later as founding member helped the Adani Group establish the A&D business. He was also the Deputy Project Director for Astra Air to Air Missile program at DRDO and his recent assignments were Director - Engineering at Honeywell India and Managing Director at SAFRAN Helicopter Engines India. Having served the Armed Forces & DRDO, closely working with Indian Industry and Foreign OEMs, he understands the opportunities and challenges on all fronts well. Jetendra Gavankar is a graduate of the Air Force Technical College, BITS-Pilani and IIMAhmedabad.
